Almost correct. It needs to be printed, BOUND (like a paper book title would be), TRIMMED, drilled, shrink-wrapped. More manual steps.
Yep. So much extra expense. Can't tell you how many times someone asked "How much money could we save if we went with a comb binding?" and then Surprised Pikachu'd me when I said that would actually be more expensive than perfect binding.
