Wonderful how the history of art has always been a generational defiance thing. Wonder how long until authors who want to boost their appeal to demographic X will simply label their books "Not for X"
It's true. "Adult" is such a strange concept and it can only have meaning in context (legally adult? socially adult? biologically adult?) and in the context of reading, I don't believe it has meaning at all. Too many people reading outside of the content intended for their age demographic makes it meaningless. Tomorrow's (8/11/22) Shelf Life has guidance on what people ought to be reading. . . .
